About EcksIconic
EcksIconic is a small Australian brand designing smart, practical gear for real people who actually use their stuff – riders, makers, gamers, musicians, work-from-home warriors and everyone in between.
What started as a way to solve a problem at the BMX track has grown into a little ecosystem of 3D-printed hardware, cable management and mounting solutions, all designed and made locally in the Blue Mountains, NSW.
How it Started
EcksIconic began trackside.
Spending weekends at BMX events, we kept running into the same headaches – timing transponders that didn’t mount cleanly, number plates that wouldn’t stay put, cables and gear that always needed “just one more zip tie”.
Instead of accepting “that’s just how it is”, we started designing our own fixes:
HoldShot™ – a neat, flexible transponder mount that actually fits race forks.
Plate holder and hardware – parts that stay put on the gate and survive a full day of racing.
Those early track solutions set the tone for EcksIconic:
solve real problems, keep it simple, make it tough.
What We Make
Today, EcksIconic focuses on small, clever products that make setups cleaner, tidier and easier to live with:
StayStrap™ – reusable, releasable TPU straps with SqueezeLoc™ quick-release, built to replace single-use zip ties in desks, TV units, gaming rigs, music setups and more.
BMX hardware – mounts, straps and holders designed for real-world racing, tested on local tracks.
Accessories & tools – little parts that help you route, mount, bundle and tame the “spaghetti” behind your gear.
Colthing and Apparel – EcksIconic Clothing started as a side-hustle to get our crazy ideas and BMX funnies onto shirts. It’s still part of the brand today, with new designs and fresh energy on the way.
All non clothing products are 3D printed in-house on modern printers, using quality materials tuned for strength, flexibility and repeatable results.
Designed and Made in the Blue Mountains
EcksIconic is based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and every part is:
– Designed in CAD from the ground up
– Prototyped, tested, tweaked and re-printed (sometimes many times)
– Printed to order or in small production runs to keep quality tight
No giant factory, no mystery plastics – just a small workshop trying to make genuinely useful little upgrades for your setup.
What We Stand For
Most of our ideas start the same way:
“There has to be a better way to do this…”
